Location: Hanoi and Ha Long bay- the world heritage in Vietnam
Number of Participants: 18 people
Theme: Learn see-judge-act method and learn how to organize a simple volunteer activity.
Objectives:
- Learn a see-judge –act method and then apply it in simple steps
- Analyze several case studies to apply a see-judge-act
- Train how to organize a simple volunteer activity
- Bridge a gap between young Vietnamese local and YPD members
Participants:
Young people interested in and involved in working for development in their own countries
Age range: 16 - 25

| In the morning and afternoon: Apply see-judge-act method through half-day visit Part 1: " SEE" There four divided teams headed to in various areas: Team 1: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Team 2: Hoan Kiem Lake Team 3: West Lake Team 4: Dong Xuan market Each team had the same mission. They had to recognize social problems or anything interesting when visiting the tourist attraction and talking with local people. Part 2: " JUDGE" After that, they shared their observation their ideas and opinions through stories and photographs with other teams. Part 3: "ACT" Brainstorm solutions and acts Explore night life in Hanoi! |

Am is a well-known volunteer group in Hanoi. It is founded by a group of young people in Hanoi from the winter of 2011. They supports for homeless people around Hanoi every Saturday nights by providing necessities such as warm clothes, food, clean water, medicine.
The group has expanded with the
participation of more people and started receiving more donations and they
decided to create more activities. However all the activities are based on the
principles: Everyone can join and can be creative.
2. Hanoi Du: https://www.facebook.com/hanoidu
Hanoi Du is an intermediary in food distribution in Hanoi. It collects leftover and food which are still useful from restaurants, food shops, super markets, and food factory, then delivers to orphans, poor households, homeless people and ethnic minority.
Toi xe dich is a communication campaign. It encourages the young to travel more. Additionally, Toi xe dich raise awareness of young Vietnamese people about Vietnam culture, tradition and cultivating patriotism Join a football competition! :)))))) CHECK OUR PHOTOs AND VIDEOs |
